Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is best known for playing Violet Plunkett, in CBS' sitcom Mom. Calvano is from California, and initially was intrigued by competitive gymnastics. However, she later chose to make a move acting. She made her screen debut in 2010 on an episode of the CBS series "NCIS". In the crime drama biographical movie J Edgar, she made her first appearance on the big screen just a few months later. In the past, she's established herself as one the most exciting actors of the current field. In 2011, she received an award for a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Actress on a TV Series, Guest Actress 11-15. In 2013 she was also nominated for another Young Artist Award for her guest appearance in Disney XD's comedy show 'Kickin' it'. Calvano appeared in a number in the episodes "Mom" in the 4th season. She played the main role in the initial three seasons of the series. In 2015, her role in the show "Mom" brought her an award called the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
