Mena Alexa Suvari was born on the 29th of September, 1979. She is an American model, fashion designer and actor. After beginning her career as a model she soon moved into acting, after appearing in guest roles on 1990's TV shows like Boy Meets World and High Incident. The actress made her debut in film in the dramatic film Nowhere. Her performances in American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated get the BAFTA Award - and American Pie and American Pie, which earned more attention from the public and recognition, she was able to move into larger roles. She has appeared with American Pie's Co-Star Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) before starring as the main character on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2001). The film also featured her in the 2002 acclaimed independent drama Spun as well as the 2004 action feature Trauma. The other films she appeared in include HBO's comedy Six Feet Under. In 2008, Suvari was cast in several movies including Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and also as in the adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari models in Lancome Paris Adaptive, and she's also been featured in a variety of blogs and magazines, including Vogue. Suvari has been a loyal supporter and activist for the renowned African relief organisation, the African Medical and Research Foundation. In addition, she's involved in charitable organizations that fight breast cancer, and End Violence Against Women. She's been featured in numerous television shows, among them Dark Angel Heroes Chris Isaak Show Black Sash Reaper Rookie Blue. Missy has been the model for a number of prominent brands including Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada as well as the Olympics. Missy's filmography features Stick It Backcountry Somewhat Red and wide Awake.
