Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American television and film actress. She is best known for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Kellie Martin is most famous for her performance as a protagonist on her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin, the daughter of a department-store buyer and kindergarten teacher, started her career in acting when she was seven. Her aunt, who was the nanny of actor Michael Landon's children was able to help Martin get a part in the 1983's show "Father Murphy". Following her graduation of Yale University she began to take acting seriously, landing roles on both the smaller screen as well as on the big. Martin, in addition to being a skilled actor and dancer, she is also an accomplished ballet photographer. Martin is also a mother of two and the spokesperson of Lupus. Since her sister's tragic death at the age of 19 Martin has been trying to raise awareness about the condition.
